Description
The knees of the cypress has always set my imagination soaring. As a child I wondered if fairies danced from knee to knee. As a teen I wondered what it would be like to breathe through my knees like a Cypress. As a young mother I imagined the knees were the cypress young and she sheltered them beneath her branches. As a grandmother of many I imagine the knees pushing the roots down to keep the elderly grandmother Cypress standing up in the fierce Louisiana Hurricane Season.
