Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

I had driven down this gravel road in rural Acadiana many times. I loved to stop and capture nature. On this particular day I had decided to paint a landscape of it. As I was gathered my painting supplies a little Mockingbird took rest on my windshield wipers. It stayed there for about five minutes. It was very curious. The weather was a little cloudy and the bird seemed to be questioning me if I would have enough time to complete my project before the rain began.
I am a Cajun-Creole grandmother who was raised in South Central Louisiana and I am trying to preserve my culture as well as the things I imagine. My Primitive Folk Art preserves the simple way of life that I love. I love my culture and the place where I live and I want to share it!! Watching over my father's shoulder is how I learned to paint. He did primitive folk art for local shops. I took several art classes in college as well as private lessons from some of Acadiana's finest artist beginning when my oldest child was in kindergarten. Thanks! Actually I got it cause I am quite slow. I am a grandma to many and it was because I was parked for so long trying to put my art supplies together that the bird figured it was a good place to perch!
