Artist's Description
The grain elevators that are found throughout rural Louisiana appear like small metropolis in a sea of green crops. Their shiny metal glistens in the sun. One of my granddaughters was quite certain that princesses lived there because the buildings were so shiny. This grain elevator can be found on highway 190 near the highway 26 intersection in Southwest Louisiana. I have not checked to see if a princess lives there. I do know that farmers are there and that farmers feed us. I think that farmers deserve shiny buildings too!
