Description
As a child I overheard my parents talking about a crawfish boil. I misunderstood and thoughts of a crawfish ball came to my mind.
Crawfish are a delicacy in Louisiana. One of our favorite ways to cook them is boiling them with onions, potatoes, lemon, corn and lots of cayenne pepper. In this painting the crawfish are playing instruments normally found in Cajun music.
The original was auctioned to benefit a school in the Acadiana area of South Louisiana.
