Description
It seems every culture has images of the Madonna and Child. I was however unable to find any Cajun images. I spoke about my search to a friend and bishop of the Catholic Church who was raised in Acadiana. He suggested that I paint a series of Cajun Madonna and Child images. Of all the ones that I painted this is my favorite. Notice that Jesus walks upon the water to bring His mother flowers but Mary's feet dip below the surface.
