Mom's motto was "Coffee Au Lait to awaken the moment and my camera to capture it in time." Coffee Au Lait is French for "Coffee and Milk." I can never remember a time when I was too young for "Coffee Au Lait." Children in South Louisiana often get Coffee Au Lait for breakfast. The younger the child the less coffee and more milk.
